Korea Spring 2012; Day 4 pt. 2 - Changgyeong-gung, Jongmyo Shrine, Hongdae

Changgyeong gung (palace)

Changgyeong Palace ni letak betul betul sebelah National Science Museum.

yes seriously memang dekat sebelah je tapi dia punya main entrance nun jauh di sana.

di sana tu di mana? di sana tu kena berjalan dalam 100m sikit la kawan kawan ye.

Ni lah dia back entrance, betul betul sebelah museum. Tapi boleh masuk lalu 1 pintu je. beradab sikit la katanya  kan masuk tempat orang guna pintu depan.

Entrance fee: 1,000 won

hmm, i wont talk about the history of this palace, since i'm not into sejarah bagai ni.

or sebenarnya, aku tak tau pun sejarah palace ni *buat muka kucing* (=^ㅅ^=)

but Changgyeong Palace ni is one of 4 famous palaces in Korea. yes yang tu aku sure. teehee.

the only thing i love about tempat tempat macam ni is the architecture.

so memang tu jela yang aku boleh appreciate and admire about.

Lalu berjalan lah kami kat area inside the palace. and they are big enough to make me stop for few times to take a breath! >.<

dan alkisahnya, tengah berjalan2 tu, satgi we were approached by this group of people, dalam 4 orang.

and they were doing some questionaires about divinity which basically related to christianity.

Oo Em Gee. (>.<)

That reminds me of my experience in Korea, 2 years ago.

Being approached by i-believe-is a er..father(?), trying to convinced me about christianity. zzzz

but this time, it's not that bad because they were doing that questionaires for their case study.

I could admit that actually there were some points in the questionaire that I agree because we; no matter what religion we believe in; we still believed in God. But the concept between christianity and islam is different, so we explained few things about that to them.

And thank God, they behaved so well about that. hahaha.

they even gave us can drinks which mula mula aku takut gila nak minum sebab mana tau kot kot dia dah jampi ke apa ke kan.

tapi masa tu aku memang dah haus and air tu datang exactly at the right time.

So minum jela. and alhamdulillah aku still boleh mengucap lagi hari ni. zzzzz.

Then lepas tu, we just off to the next point.

Jongmyo Shrine

Hmm, kitorang jalan je dari changgyeonggung to this place.

I was not exactly sure where it was tapi kitorang sampai jugak la kat sini.

It's sort of a place where the memorial services for the deceased kings and queens were held during the ancient time.

Entrance fee: 1,000 won.

Kalau nak ikut almost all of the designs of old palaces and buildings in korea ni resembles each other.
Sama tapi tak serupa.

At Jongmyo Shrine ni, dia banyak separated buildings just for the memorial ceremony. Like 1 building ni is the preparation room for the kings before the ceremony, satu bangunan lagi untuk diorang makan makan je, pastu ada building untuk simpan abu mayat la. Last2 area Jongmyo Shrine tu jadi besar jugak.

pastu ada pathway ni yang dorang larang any visitors to cross it sebab they believe spirit raja ke apa ntah akan lalu dekat situ.

sounds insane. but creepy jugak at the same time >.<

Again, I couldn't really appreciate Jongmyo Shrine punya sentimental value as memorial service place. Seriously aku bukan sejarah sejarawan la weyh. Aku cuma boleh puji architecture dia lawa je.

Hongdae Flea Market

After pergi Jongmyo Shrine tu, kitorang patah balik pergi area hyehwa. makan kejap then berlari lari anak pergi flea market dekat Hongdae.

Ok tipu.

mana ada lari. Naik subway je.

Location: Subway Line 2 Hongik University station (Exit 1)

Hongdae Flea Market ni ada on saturday je, started at around 1pm kot kalau tak silap.

Tapi haritu kitorang sampai da pukul 4 lebih camtu. tengok macam banyak yang dah tutup.

So last last kitorang pergi sini;

CAT CAFE!~~~
Tu nama dia tu, aku tak tau nak baca camne. font advance sangat. 고양이(Cat) je aku tau T_T

Ok nak masuk tempat ni kasut kena bukak, tangan kena sapu dengan sanitizer dulu, pastu bayar 8,000 won then order air. Pastu boleh la main main dengan kucing kat situ!~

Kucing kat sana memang baka gemuk gebu montel ke ek?

tembam tembam aku tengok semuanya. Ok kecuali sphynx cat ni la. Takde bulu.

Dah la takde bulu. lepas tu sombong tau. kita nak pegang pun dia taknak 

kita nak ambik gamba dia siap dia palingkan muka lagi. amboiiiii (T__T)

Kitorang duduk sini main main dengan kucing sampai sejam.

lepas tu keluar round round dekat area hongdae tu.

sesak takyah cakap.

mostly students la rasanya.

pub pun banyak jugak dekat sini.

Malam tu aku tak ingat sudey kat mana kitorang makan.

ke kitorang tak makan huh?

Yang aku ingat balik dari hongdae kitorang ada singgah myeongdong shopping street and membeli belah sikit la kat sana sampai kedai nak tutup tapi kitorang tak reti reti nak balik guesthouse. Mentang mentang guest house seberang jalan je kan. cehhhh.
